QUAY UPDATE
Dear Clients,
We have lift off! The Government announcement last evening confirmed that Estate Agency businesses can get back to work and I’m delighted to advise that Savannah and Grace will both be back in the office on Monday when we will be reopening the doors. Kate, our Accounts Manager, will continue to work from home presently (for health reasons) but has been doing a sterling service holding the fort during lockdown.
Holiday Lettings unfortunately are still not permitted with folk not permitted to stay anywhere other than their primary residence. We are however able to let short term accommodation to key workers and we are endeavouring to do so where possible. We hope restrictions for self-catering accommodation will be lifted in the ‘Phase 2’ Government announcement around 1st June, but we suspect it may not be until 4th July – keep all fingers crossed!
Squee-Quay Clean can now recommence too and if you do require any cleaning services, whether residential, spring cleans or pre / post lettings cleans please don’t hesitate to advise. We will be gradually bringing the cleaning team off furlough and we are already starting to work around vacant holiday letting properties requiring cleaning.
We are busy making some changes to the office and updating some processes in order to maintain social distancing and keep everyone safe. Marketing for properties available for sales or residential letting will re-commence fully and viewings will be arranged (albeit we will be spend a little more time in qualifying applicants or purchasers before meeting face-to-face at properties).
While we love to see you, we continue to ask where possible that you email or telephone us where possible to minimise any unnecessary visits to the office. Please do continue to bear with us if our response is a little slower than usual as we can’t get back to full team capacity as yet but hope to do so shortly.
