It was always a pleasure to call in at your office and meet the team, who somehow always seemed cheerful!

In mid-November 2011 we thought about a buy-to-let property and decided a property in Poole would be a good investment. With no experience as landlords we did the usual rounds of the Internet plus a few estate agents and called into Quay Living in Poole. Little did we know that by the 3rd January with their guidance and expertise we would have bought, furnished and rented out an apartment from them! We met Helen who showed us around several apartments and advised us on the suitability on letting. We decided to buy an apartment in Orchard Plaza and asked them to supply all furnishings and fixtures/ fittings suitable for holiday letting. We wanted to be in by Xmas, which was only 5 weeks away! We were first time landlords so Quay Living advised and helped us through the various legal and health and safety issues. How did it turn out? We were in by Xmas and Helen at Quay Living had done a superb job of furnishing the apartment under budget. We now realize it was something we could not have done ourselves to produce that “wow” factor. After a comfortable Xmas in our lovely new apartment Quay Holidays, who are arranging the letting, informed us that they had tenants for a couple of months starting on the 3rd January. So we handed back the keys confident that Quay Holidays will manage the complete letting process. It is nice to deal with people who provide an excellent service and fulfill their promises. Just an acknowledgement of the excellent service you provided me with during May 2014. When the time came to find a new tenant I was not expecting an easy ride. I live half the week 30 miles away, work 40 miles outside the area and have a busy 12 hour day. I expected some time wasting, some stress and massive inconvenience which was likely to cost me money, as my work would have been interrupted. Thankfully, Quay Living was there to help, they did ALL the work and I even felt surplus and not required at times, never a bad thing. All viewings were taken care of and an excellent tenant was chosen as well as a significant rent increase, all necessary utilities informed, security checks passed and a tenancy agreement signed. The flat was only empty for ten days!!!! I was kept informed throughout the process and from my point of view it was simple - just two weeks, two emails and two phone calls. We are more than happy with the services provided by Quay Living. Everyone is always very helpful and maintenance issues are dealt with in a very professional and efficient way. Obtaining quotes for maintenance work required can be a pain but is handled with a minimum of hassle. The late night and weekend service is also a bonus. Quay Living are by far the best letting agent we have dealt with both in Bournemouth and Doncaster. Keep up the good work.

We were very happy with the service we got from Quay Living. It all went perfectly from the very beginning. We say this because we had to pull out of the previous purchase, and the agency we had to deal with was awful, slow and very rude. This purchase only took about 8 weeks, which was very quick, compared to our last experience. This makes such a big difference! We couldnt have asked for a better experience when house buying. James was always very helpful and approachable ,never felt like we were being a nuisance with our questions which he was always very professional in trying to find out the answers and quick to respond. When speaking to other members of the team they also were very polite and helpful, particulary like the quick return of phone calls, never had to chase up . Location was the key to buying Liberty Way we are very happy here so far. Thankyou for the lovely touch of a bottle of wine and card with congratulations on our wedding !! I have always found the team at Quay Living to be amazingly helpful and professional. When I first let my property out as a holiday let they had to work around times where I would be in the flat for work. Then when I let it out generally as a holiday let they worked really hard to secure the best rates despite the down turn in the recession. Finally when I decided to sell, they secured a very swift transaction and supported myself and the buyers throughout. I would certainly recommend Quay Living to any prospective vendor. We marketed our buy-to-let for sale with the tenant in situ, but the purchaser they found us was an owner-occupier. Quay were un-perturbed - they negotiated an early lease surrender, found our tenant a new home and even helped them move house - Brilliant!
